Species: Cupressaceae, Chamaecyparis genus
Scientific name: Chamaecyparis obtusa    

A fresh and deep forest scent that makes you want to take a deep breath.  
Its flower language is "a strong-willed person."

While the genus Chamaecyparis is distributed in North America, Japan, and Taiwan, the species native to Japan are Hinoki and Sawara, both endemic to Japan.
Although hinoki is often a topic of discussion due to hay fever, the scent of hinoki has been familiar to Japanese people for a long time.

It is said that scents directly reach the brain and affect the parts related to memory. By encountering the scent that Japanese people have cherished since ancient times, you might be able to gently relax and connect with memories of a time when forests and nature were close at hand.
Even if you don't have a hinoki bathtub... if you add a drop of this essential oil, you'll feel relaxed, as if you're in a hinoki bath.


〈How to Enjoy〉
・Room fragrance (aromatic bath)
Drip 1 to several drops of oil into an aroma lamp or aroma mist diffuser to vaporize and fill your room with scent.

・Aroma bath
Add several drops of aroma oil to the bathtub for a full bath (5 drops or less) or a half-body bath (3 drops or less).

・Cosmetic making
It can be used as an ingredient for hand creams and aromatic sprays. Please enjoy making handmade cosmetics.

〈Precautions for Use〉
・Essential oils contain highly concentrated aromatic components of plants.
・The undiluted solution is highly irritating, so do not apply it directly to the skin or use it in a concentrated state; always use a small amount.
・If you feel any abnormality during use, stop using it immediately.
・Do not apply the undiluted solution to the skin.
・If it gets on your skin, wash it off immediately with a large amount of clean running water. If any abnormalities appear, consult a doctor.
・If it accidentally gets into your eyes, never rub your eyes. Wash your eyes immediately with a large amount of clean running water and consult a doctor.
・Never drink it.If you accidentally drink it and there is oil remaining in your mouth, rinse your mouth immediately with a large amount of water.If swallowed, do not force vomiting; consult a doctor immediately.
・Be very careful with fire.
・Pregnant women and infants should only use it for aromatic baths.
・Those with sensitive skin or allergies should try a small amount first. We recommend modest use starting with a small amount.
・After opening, use within approximately one year.

〈Storage Method〉
・To prevent oxidation and volatilization, close the cap tightly immediately after use.
・Store in a cool, dark place away from high temperatures, high humidity, and direct sunlight.
・Store the bottle upright. If stored horizontally, the oil may leak.
・Keep out of reach of children.
・Sediment may appear at the bottom of the bottle during storage, but this is a component of the oil and does not affect quality.

〈If the oil is difficult to dispense〉
The oil may be difficult to dispense during cold winter months. In such cases, warm the bottle in the palm of your hand before use.
